Hello everyone! Thank you all for a successful draft, and double thanks to everyone who consistently posted the contract info. 1. Free Agent FrenzyFree Agent Frenzy will begin on Wednesday, September 16th, 2015 @ 12:00pm ET (Noon). Any player that was not drafted is now a free agent. To bid on a player please open a new thread in the "Free Agent Frenzy" board with the player's full name. You are free to bid on any player for any amount of money (min. $525,000) for a maximum of 4 years. To evaluate the significance of your offer, please use the "Bid Table" board. A bid is only valid if it is a minimum of .2 points greater than the last bid. i.e. Original Offer: Leafs offer Dion Phaneuf 3 years @ $4,000,000 = 8.75 pts | Valid: Habs offer Dion Phaneuf 2 years @ $5,000,000 = 9.00 pts | Not Valid: Habs offer Dion Phaneuf 4 years @ 3,750,000 = 8.91 pts |
A GM wins the bid when he remains the highest bidder for 72 hours. 2. Help Wanted
The IFHA is looking for some assistance in moderating the forum. We are looking for 3-4 individuals who are willing to help run the league. If anyone is interested please send me a PM. I will let you know what roles we need; if you're not interested then no worries! 3. Replacement GMsWe are currently looking to replace some GMs who have left. The LEB will be drafting players onto these teams before Free Agent Frenzy to avoid them becoming too irrelevant to compete. There is a high chance the LEB will vote to reward replacement GMs with some sort of assets to help their development for the future.

Extra reminders:- You can buy out a player at anytime. 50% of his contract will count against your cap hit for the remainder of his contract. (i.e. player a has 3 years @ $3m and he is bought out, he counts against your cap hit for 3 years @ $1.5m). You can not rebid on this player for 1 calendar year (365 days). - You can bring up and send down as many times as you like with the minors. In order to be minors eligible, a player must have played less than 82 games in his career. Your minors team also has a cap hit of $10M. - You must be under the cap hit at all times($71.4M). We are keeping an eye on cap hits so please don't make us have to come up with a punishment. - There are no ELC contracts. A player burns a year of his contract regardless if he plays in the NHL or not. - You have 4 extensions per year (this number will grow as the league grows; keep that in mind when signing players to long term extensions ) - Any player eligible for RFA (27 or younger) will go through RFA in the offseason; the GM who owns that player has the option to match the highest bid or take the compensation. If there is no offer, the GM can sign the player to a 1 year extension (that does not count towards the previous 4 extension limit).- You can sign free agents for a minimum of $525,000. - When trading a player you can retain up to 50% of his salary
