Carolina acquires
11th round Sabres expansion pick ( previously acquired in a trade with B'hawks )
Toronto St. Pats acquire
14th round Canes expansion pick Canes 2015 / 2016 2nd round selection Canes 2016 / 2017 2nd round selection Canes 2016 / 2017 3rd round selection
We feel that this far deep into the draft, there are still viable options that we're interested in and we're confident that some of those names will still be available further down the rounds. Hence we'll try to maximize our gains and collect further future assets while moving down a couple of expansion rounds. Given the revamped outlook of this organisation, those future assets are invaluable to us.
We'd like to express our appreciation to the Hurricane's organisation and their quick and decisive approach to the table.
Carolina to confirm.

Hurricanes confirm and apologize for the delayed response.
I am giving up a lot for an 11th round expansion pick but I have a player in mind that I think can really help my team and their efforts to play for the championship in our inaugural season.

Confirm (1-0)
Canes gives up a few prospect picks to move up 3 rounds in the expansion draft. Possibly a little overpayment, but not really considering that's the price you pay to move up. Hopefully Canes gets the player they are targetting

Approve (2-0)
St Pats gains their prospect picks they ever-so love. Canes has been trying desperately to get back into the 11th and finally does. The three round drop is well made up for by the three prospect picks in return plus already having a pick in the round makes this deal easier for Pats to make. I believe that this deal is fair to both parties involved.
edit: changed approval count because Blues posted at same time I did and I didnt see it

Approve (3-0)
Similar package to the one I offered, but with an extra 2nd rounder. Overpayments are not a reason to disapprove imo and this isn't a huge one as far as I can tell.

EDIT ***
Didn't want to edit the original post so that everything remains transparent but I made an error in the original post.
Carolina's offer was 14th + 16 3rd, 17 2nd and 17 3rd
I had two tabs ( one with offer and the other with his remaining picks ) to make sure I had it right and still I've managed to mess it up. Apologies guys.
Cheers, Christian

If canes doesn't have the picks in this deal, the trade is automatically declined and you will need to open a new thread.
