I would like to propose moving to 1 hour draft time slots starting in round 8.

Approved 1-0
The quicker we get our teams, the quicker we can start doing something with it.

Approved 2-0. As long as we don't auto pick for people, I'm for it. If someone misses their pick, they can make the pick at the end of the day or after the round is over.

No, only way we autopicked for someone was in the first 2 rounds. After that if you missed your pick you just make your selection whenever you log in.

edit: as long as its still designated so people don't get screwed over. no need for a rolling clock

It's just the start of Aug, 1 hour is way to soon, tons of time to process this out, It's the busy season at work for me so unable to be at a computer as much as I like, now I'm gonna miss out of picks

It's okay to disapprove Matt,
I Disapprove. I don't see the rush. (6-2)

I also disapprove. Guys have work and other things to deal with. We will have most of September to mess with other stuff so I don't see the rush.

Going to join the bandwagon and disapprove also. I would be able to make all the picks because Im able to access a computer from work, but not everyone is as lucky. I don't want people people to miss picks. Ive done a few other drafts like this and they were all continuous clock and you had an hour or two from the pick before you. All of those leagues ended up having managers drop out mid draft because it was going too fast and they were constantly getting skipped. Right now every GM has been making their picks which to me is all we can ask for. Do we want to know our final team? Most definitely. But, I dont think we should make someone get skipped because of not being able to check in as frequently as other.
(6-4)

The rolling concept is great but 1 hour might be pushing it.
4 hours rolling seems more reasonable.
What is making this draft painful is 5 or 6 guys pick in a few hours and then one person I on the clock for2 days. 4 hours window from the last pick between 8am and 12pm.

I disaprove ( 6-4 )
"4 hours rolling" would be really bad for me ( I'm in Finland, GMT+3 time zone )

With wild's last vote the updated score is 9-5.
I gave this some more thought and I feel that it should only be approved if an overwhelming majority of the league wanted it, seems pretty even thus far. I'm changing my vote from approved to declined, making the updated score....
Updated Score / Vote: 8-6

I think I'm gonna change votes too. I though about it, and we still have lots of time. 1 hour isn't long at all, especially if someone is out for a day or two.
Updated vote: 7-7

I couldn't decide either way, so I made another thread with a slightly larger window.
