Wasn't sure where to post this or if it was a rule change (maybe a clarification).
After our league's entry draft can you sign any player that was not drafted by our league or do they keep re-entering our draft until they lose their NHL draft eligibility? Just as an example: Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk weren't taken until very late rounds in the NHL draft. If they weren't taken in our draft can any GM sign them or do they re-enter next year's draft until they are no longer eligible for the NHL draft? (sorry if my wording is confusing)

They become free agents and can be signed once the free agency signing period begins. After this draft, the draft will be just a prospect draft, with the players available in the real NHL draft for the prospect draft

So if Auston Matthews is hypothetically not picked in our 2016 prospect draft he becomes a free agent?
